Freshway Logistics driver Albert Land recently stopped to help a stranded motorist while he was out on a run.
Lizzy McEntee wrote to tell us: “I just want to commend one of your drivers, Albert, who generously went above and beyond to help me change my flat tire this evening near Plymouth, Indiana at a Pilot travel stop. He had no obligation to do so, but he did and I will forever be grateful.”
Dan Stegall, Director of Logistics for Freshway commended Albert for his actions. “Albert has been a valued part of our team for years. He has relocated multiple times and he’s there when you need him. He does a great job for the company. His willingness to help someone in need on the road is just a part of who he is as a person.”
Because he was willing to take the time to help someone in need, Albert received the High Five award, which rewards Freshway
employees who go above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks, Albert, for being a great example to us all!
