As we come to the end of 2016, we would like to share with you some photos from our Christmas family adoption project. This year, we adopted two families and two senior citizens. Our generous associates donated Christmas gifts, food and money to help make the holidays bright for these families in our community. Every year this activity reminds us how truly blessed we are.

We encourage you to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, and to think about the ways your life was blessed in 2016.

Freshway associates gave back to the local community during this past Christmas season by sponsoring three local families. Our associates purchased Christmas presents for eight children, ranging from 2 to 14 years of age. Gift cards were also provided to the families so that they could purchase groceries or cover other household needs.

Freshway also provided each family with enough foods for Christmas Eve and Christmas meals, including a ham, a turkey, potatoes and other food items.

This is the third consecutive year that Freshway associates have worked together to make Christmas bright for local families. We are fortunate to have so many generous people here, who really care about the community, and are willing to give of their time and money to make the Sidney/Shelby County area a better place to live.
